First Aid in the Work Place Training Course

First Aid at Work (FAW) Now only 3 Days

A full Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience, for example, clerical or engineering staff. The First Aid at Work course is run over three days and includes both theory and practical sessions. By arrangement the course can be run on non-consecutive days, for example - one day a week over three weeks.

Delegates are independently examined on the final afternoon of the course. Upon successful completion certification is valid for three years*.

First Aid at Work Re qualification Course

Under the current guidelines it is “strongly recommend” that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months – before completing full re-qualification training at the three year point.


Cost

The cost of the three-day course is £297 per delegate with a minimum of 3, when run at your venue. This includes certification. We can run courses up to a maximum of 12 delegates. We can also provide First Aid Training 1 day per week for 3 weeks to ensure less disruption to your business. There is a small surcharge for this option - please call us to discuss.

To compliment our courses we offer the following services:

  • Ample notification of when an employee's certification is due for renewal, thus allowing time to adjust shift patterns etc.
  • Free appraisals of your current first aid arrangements, including personnel and equipment.
  • Training days and mini-exercises that are designed to refresh and challenge your First Aiders, including video de-brief and a full written report

 

Who is this course for?

This course is for anybody, trained or untrained. The course also meets the minimum legal requirement for an employer to appoint a person to take charge of first aid and emergency aid.
